Baby Photos to help us remember the hazy days of Childhood

As I sit here drinking coffee in my messy house, bleary eyed, with a slightly pounding head, having worked late into the night, and then been up in the night with my not-so-little one ...

This feeling took me back to when the girls were teeny, when going to the the toilet by myself was a luxury, when getting out of the house could take the best part of an hour, and then having to change them again as I stepped out of the door was almost too much.

So when someone says to you enjoy every precious moment, when you barely have a moment. It really isn't that helpful.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to the amazing mums out there who are exhausted. It is hard. It can be relentless. There's absolutely no denying that. And I guess that's why I take photos - so that I can remember the moments in between, when the sun shines...

Stanway House Family Fun, Cheltenham

Every family has a different story. And that's what I love to capture.

Which is why when I was asked if we could hold their family photoshoot at Stanway House, Cheltenham, where they got married - a place filled with wonderful memories, full of smiles and laughter (and a whole lot of rain), I said of course we should!

So it was fitting that when given the option to reschedule, that they wanted the show to go on despite the drizzle! Victoria Warwick - I just loved the spirit of you and your family and the fun that you have together - it was an absolute joy to photograph! I hope you love your images!

After the Fog: Bobble Hats, Smiles in family photo shoot on Leckhampton Hill

Oh my goodness, so so many favourites to share of this gorgeous family! And to think we almost called this family session off because the fog was completely covering Leckhampton Hill in the morning! Amazingly it cleared, and what a wonderful time we had! It really does feel good to wrap up and make yourselves get out for some fresh air - I'm so glad that we did! 

Don't worry Kate Sylvester - I promise I have lots of lovely photos with everyone smiling at the camera, but this bobble hat one makes my heart so happy! And it totally made my day when your children broke out in the chicken dance whilst we were taking your romantic couple portrait!! 😂

Stunning, relaxed home photoshoot with newborn twins

I'm a strong believer in how your experience is re-lived whenever you look at your photos, which is why I place great importance on enjoying your photoshoot. This is the reason that I love photographing newborns at home, where everyone is relaxed and surrounded by familiar smells and home comforts. There's no need to pack your bags, or worry about being late because baby needs to feed or needs changing. I can come to you, and will capture your first precious days with your new baby at home.

You really couldn't get much more relaxed than this family - and seriously, how can a new mum of twins look so together and amazing?
