Whether it’s the way they nuzzle into your shoulder or the peaceful chaos of life at home, I’ll create a relaxed space where you can just be, allowing me to capture moments that are raw, real, and uniquely yours.

What it feels like

Most families I work with haven’t had professional photos taken like this before - and often aren’t sure what to expect.

That’s completely normal.

My job is to help you relax quickly, so what unfolds feels natural and easy - with just enough direction so you never feel unsure. Quite literally it’s like a friend coming over for a chat - who adores your children, and just happens to have a camera with her. I’ll guide you gently where needed, then step back so your family can simply be together.

FAQs

Where shall we hold your shoot?

For newborn sessions, I visit you in the comfort of your own home, surrounded by cuddles and everything that you need. I will capture individual portraits of your baby, you all as a family, and the lovely moments in between!

I’m a strong believer of family photoshoots at your home. So much time is spent here, everyone is relaxed and it is such a wonderful way of jogging the memories of the house in which your children grew up. The bonus of this is that because these photos are taken in your home - they will automatically match your decor!

Having said that, if there is something that you really love doing as a family, or somewhere that you love to go, I believe in capturing you in your happy space. Whether it’s a particular walk or a park that you go to, a favourite coffee shop, or a family tradition - I’d love to join you wherever that is.

How long will a photoshoot last?

My photoshoots last for approximately 2-2.5 hours (2 hours for newborn sessions). This will allow enough time to create and capture the moments with natural smiles and details, showing the true connections of your family, and using natural light to enhance your images.

But I’m not a fan of having my photo taken….

Neither am I! With confidence issues in my appearance until I was an adult, I am just as self conscious as the next person when it comes to having my photo taken. So for those who are self conscious / camera shy / reluctant husbands - I totally get it, and I make it a big part of my job to ensure that you are relaxed first and foremost, and just focus on your children.

I then encourage you to just play and cuddle your children as you normally would do, and take photos of this, using the light and my experience to show your best side off. It’s as simple as that - just you, enjoying spending time with your loved ones. And I promise that you’ll love these photos as much as your children will.

Your photos are your story, , and they deserve to be displayed and enjoyed every day—not just saved to a hard drive. But I know how busy life can get, which is why I’ve made it easy to bring these memories to life.

When you book a session with me, you’ll receive a voucher to spend in my Print Shop after your shoot, so you can quickly and simply order your favourite images right from your gallery. I’ve partnered with industry-leading labs, ensuring your prints are made with archival-quality materials and a lifetime colour guarantee, which cheaper prints can’t match. My equipment is calibrated with these labs, so your prints look exactly as they should.

Every purchased image comes with a full print release, allowing you the freedom to print wherever you choose. Just know that only prints ordered through my shop come with my guarantee for quality, colour accuracy, and longevity—so you can be confident your memories are preserved beautifully.

My branding shoot was a bit complicated—capturing two distinct brands in one day, plus we shot at my house while I was moving out, so timing was tight. Some of these photos are genuinely the best pictures anyone has ever taken of me. I can take an okay selfie, but I usually look notoriously hideous when other people take photos of me, so I was a bit nervous. I’ve had a mini branding shoot before that I absolutely hated. But with Chui, I knew I was in safe hands, and I was right.

One of the first photos she showed me almost made me cry because it was just exactly what I wanted.
